Living in decade where everyone trying to reduce their carbon offset, it does make us wonder how efficient is nuclear power plant plant compare to other alternative power plant ? .We all know how bad was our perception towards the nuclear energy due to the World War II and and lately ,the Chernobyl Disaster. Those perception definitely make us think nuclear energy are dangerous to the nature and might cause a bigger catastrophic event in the future .But think again ,we have to change our perception towards this clean energy !

A nuclear power plant use 'fuel rod' as as main resource for its to generate electricity .But after a few years ,about 5 percent of a nuclear fuel rod has reacted inside a nuclear reactor that rod is no longer able to be used as fuel (due to the build-up of fission products. However ,The most important waste stream from nuclear power plants is spent nuclear fuel. It is primarily composed of unconverted uranium as well as significant quantities of transuranic actinides (plutonium and curium, mostly).

As what mentioned before ,the Malaysia government plan to build a nuclear power plant by the year 2021 make everyone curious to know from which country Malaysia going to get the technology and expertise for this project . As for now ,they said country like South Korea, Japan ,France and China is in the top list as all of this country are having one of the most advanced technolgy in the reseach and development(R&D) ,conducting ,and at the same time also designing a mega project such as this one .So what do you think guys ? Should the government get the technology from the Asia country or from the 'veto' country like America and Russia? Which is the best option? What is your opinion about the nuclear technology in those country?

We all now agree that Malaysia should build a nuclear power plant ,in order to make sure the consumer and the industrial sectors will have an enough supply of electrical power .But the question that have been in everyone mind is ,if Malaysia want to build a nuclear power plant ,where should we build it ?Should it be in the area where the demand of electric energy is the most (which is in the industrial areas such a Seberang Jaya ,Shah Alam and Pasir Gudang and others) or in the rural areas (which is many consider as the best place to build it ,if the safety is the main priority while choosing the sites) ? What is your opinion guys? This nuclear power plant should be build in an area near with the city or deep inside and far away from it?Does the area situation or its geography condition are taken in considering the best site to build the 1st Malaysia nuclear power plant ?
